EEMS2 (Endpoint Encryption Managed Service) provides a managed service using the McAfee "Endpoint Encryption" software, formerly known as SafeBoot. Endpoint Encryption encrypts your computers hard drive and adds pre-boot authentication (where by the system requires a password before the machine can even start loading the operating system). This means that if someone were to steal your machine they wouldn't be able to read the contents of the drive if they tried to mount it in another machine - the only way to your data is via the password that you hold.
